Pinnington Jones Reaches Semi-final in Moscow

Tennis First grantee Jack Pinnington Jones reached the semi-final of the Boy’s 16&under 2019 European Junior Championships this week in Moscow. Jack came through a tough quarter-final against the number two seed from Serbia, Stefan Popovic, which he won 6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5). In the Semi-final he lost out to France’s Max Westphal 6-2, 6-3.

In the doubles event Jack played with another grantee Lui Maxted. In the semi-finals they put out the number one seeds before losing a very close final 11-9 in the third set tie break. Congratulations on a great week.
