Jack Draper wins first ATP 500 title

Jack Draper won the first ATP 500 title of his career on Sunday after a straight sets victory over Karen Khachanov at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna.

In his debut, Jack scored a near perfect first set in terms of performance, before getting to work to overturn a 4-0 deficit to claim the second set 7-5.

He became the fourth British man to win an ATP 500 title in the Open Era after Andy Murray, Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans. The win sees him move to a career high ranking of #15.

Jack told Sky Sports, “I’ve loved being here – Vienna is an incredible tournament. To win my first ATP 500 feels incredible. I’m so proud of myself and my team for all the hard work we’ve put in. It’s for moments like this so I’m going to enjoy it.”

We’re so proud of you Jack, congrats!
