Wendelken Takes Home Third Doubles Title in Israel

Grantee Harry Wendelken reached two singles finals in Israel and claimed his third doubles title of 2019.

In week one Harry battled through two three setters before losing to his doubles partner Karlis Ozolins 6-3, 6-4 in the final. The pair narrowly lost 10-8 in a third set championship tie break in the doubles semi final.

Week two brought more success as Harry reached a second final, this time losing in three sets to dutch player Stijn Pel 7-6 (1), 4-6, 6-2. To claim win on the doubles court Harry teamed up with Raphael Collignon, the pair held their nerve to come through two extremely close matches in the semi final and final where they had to play championship tie breaks.

Congratulations on to Harry on his performance Israel.
