Salisbury Becomes Grand Slam Champion

Former grantee Joe Salisbury becomes a Grand Slam Champion for the first time at the Australian Open. Joe and his American partner, Rajeev Ram, beat Australian duo Max Purcell and Luke Saville in just over an hour to claim the title at Melbourne Park. Joe is now one of the top four doubles players on the ATP Tour, his highest ever ranking.

He becomes only the second Brit to win the Australian Open Men's Doubles in the Open Era alongside Jamie Murray. We are thrilled for you Joe, congratulations.

In the Junior event, there was more doubles delight as Matilda Mutavdzic reached the final of the Australian Open Girls' Doubles with partner Ziva Falkner, they fell to the number four seeds in the final 6-1, 6-2. Great result Matilda.
