Purser and Johnson Take Home Titles in Bath

Tennis First grantee Sofia Johnson had an impressive week at the Grade 2 event in Bath, winning the 18U singles and doubles titles. In the singles draw she came through a three set semifinal against Imogen Haddad winning 10-5 in the championship tie break. In the final, Sofia beat Camilla Gretschel 6-0, 6-3.

On the doubles court Sofia teamed up with Amy Leather for the win. They beat Aisling Mcgrane and Abbie Tyler 6-2, 7-5 in the final.

Another grantee was in action as Issey Purser won the 16U event. She won a total of five matches including the final against number one seed Megan Carmichael 6-2, 7-5.
