Boulter leads team to Billie Jean King Cup victory over Mexico

There was victory for the Great Britain Billie Jean King Cup team, as they beat Mexico 3-1 in their cup tie at the NTC over the weekend.

Katie Boulter was on outstanding form throughout the tie, as she defeated Mexico's two highest-ranked players without dropping a set. With victory in the play-off tie, GB have now secured a qualifying spot for the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup finals and they should be incredibly proud of their performance and their team spirit and camaraderie throughout the event.

The GB team was superbly captained by Tennis First Ambassador, Anne Keothavong, and we were proud of all our past Grantees, Harriet Dart, Katie Swan and Jodie Burrage, who along with Katie and Heather Watson, made up the full GB team. It's also worth noting that the event was brilliantly commentated on by Naomi Cavaday and Yasmin Clarke, who are also part of the Tennis First team, so it was very much a Tennis First family affair!

Congratulations to all involved!
