Another week of great results

We are delighted to report more good news and results from the Tennis First cohort this week.

First up, huge congratulations to Liam Broady who has been chosen to represent Team GB at the Olympics. What a fantastic experience and we wish him all the best in Tokyo!

Jay Clarke reached the final of ATP Challenger in Kazakhstan, losing a very close three set final and Evan Hoyt won back to back doubles titles in Portugal with his partner Thomas Fancutt.

Back on home turf, Charles Broom won the 5th week of the UK Pro League. Emily Appleton reached the final of the Ladies event and Amelia Bissett came fourth in the event.

Amongst our current Grantees who are all competing hard at the moment,

Hephzibah Oluwadare (pictured) won the LTA British in Tour in Giffnock, in Scotland. Still in Scotland, at the Grade 5 event in Edinburgh, Issey Purser won the doubles with her partner, Ella McDonald, beating fellow Grantees, Isabelle Lacy and Guilia Lesa. Fabio Nestola and Matthew Rutter paired up and won the doubles against Hugo Coquelin and Luca Pow. Abby Kelliher (pictured right) reached the finals of singles, making this is her second final in a row, and both Issey Purser and Mimi Xu reached the semi finals of the Singles.

Congratulations to all on some excellent results!
