A good week overseas for Grantees

Our Grantees have been extremely busy this week all over the world and have notched up several successes in the process.

First up to the Dominican Republic J2 ITF Junior events, where Amelia Bissett won the Doubles event with her partner Klara Millicevic.

In the Boys' events, it was a great week for Lui Maxted who won the singles event (beating fellow Grantee Jack Pinnington Jones in the final) and reaching the finals of the doubles with Will Nolan. Jack PJ and his partner, Tennis First Grantee, Derrick Chen reached the semi finals of the doubles event and Derrick also reached the quarter finals of the singles. Well done boys!

Over to the W15 Sharm El Sheik event, where Matilda Mutavdzic reached the semi finals and then finally to the J4 ITF Poland where new Grantee, Mattias Southcombe, had a great week, reaching the semi finals of the doubles losing 13-11 in the championship tie break.

And finally, to Poitiers in France, where former Grantee, George Loffhagen, was runner up at the M15 event, having had a tremendous run through qualifying to finally losing the final in a tight three setter match.

Congratulations to all players!
