A busy week's round up!

There has been lots of successful activity this week from both present and past Grantees and it's been particularly exciting to see the younger players back competing again, with such fantastic results.

Charlie Robertson (pictured) won the 18U singles tournament and was runner up in the 18U doubles event at the G3 Tayside Open in St. Andrews this weekend. It's great to see Charlie getting back into the swing of things so positively after lockdown.

At the LTA British Tour event in Nottingham there was a lot of British talent on show, including a great many Tennis First Grantees, past and present. Current Grantee Louis Bowden reached the final of the Men's event, losing out to former Grantee, Dan Little, and Anna Brogan won the Women's event, with both Isabelle Lacy and Phoenix Weir reaching the semi finals of the event, a great result for the junior players.

Jodie Burrage continued her good form by winning the doubles title at the W25 event in Salinas, Ecuador, Lui Maxted reached the semi finals at the J2 singles event in Austria and Matilda Mutavdzic reached the finals of the W15 Doubles event in Turkey, losing out 7-10 in a Championships tie-break.

Finally, Harriet Dart's great run in Charleston finally came to an end this week when she lost in the semi finals to the eventual winner, Claire Liu. Harriet had already come through three tough 3-setters in the opening rounds, so she should be proud of a great week's work!

Well done to all players this week and we look forward to watching all our players continue their good form over the coming weeks and months.
