2020 Orange Bowl Round Up

At the prestigious Orange Bowl event, held annually on the clay in Florida, our grantees were in action among the best junior players in the world. JA Plantation - also known as the Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships - is one of six Grade A events outside of the Grand Slams that carry the greatest ranking points on the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors.

In the top tier event, grantee Matilda Mutavdzic fell in the quarter finals in three sets to eventual finalist Jana Kolodynska. Millie Bissett reached the doubles quarter finals with Eva Shaw after being knocked in the second round of singles.

Jack Pinnington Jones lost out in the quarter finals to a French opponent Luca Van Assche and reached the semi finals on the doubles court with his American partner Dali Blanch.

Grantees Lui Maxted and Toby Samuel teamed up together to reach the quarter finals in doubles. Along with Will Nolan, they both lost in the second round of singles.
