Wendelken and Chen get good wins

More success to report from some of our current Grantees, who have been battling it out in all corners of the world.

First up, Harry Wendelken, who won the Grade 2 ITF event in Pontevedra, Spain last week, beating Swiss player, Dominic Stricker in straight sets in the final.  Wendelken was the number 4 seed in the event and had some convincing wins along the way to the final, including beating the no. 2 seed in a tight three-setter.

On the other side of the world, Derrick Chen, still only 15, took the trophy in the Boys Grade 5 ITF event in the Curacao Juniors Open, on the Dutch Caribbean island.  Chen (seeded 3) beat the number one seed, American Benjamin Kittay, 6-4, 6-3 in the final.

Great experiences and great wins for both boys!  Well done!
